Ghostly Field

We thought our school was haunted...
Correction... it had a haunted field.
Haunted field= A point whereby it is acted on by ghostly forces.
We (Kristen, Aazean, Azureen and I) were setting up the PA system and microphones for the Form 3's debate today and...
The microphones would screech when they are brought to a certain point on stage.
We had a couple of afternoon sessions lazing around at the stage and they gave tips...

Girl A : I think the wire is too curled up around the microphone stand. Loosen it up.
Me : Yah Aazean, why in the first place do we even need to curl it up?
Aazean: It's so that it would get tangled up while speaking I guess.
Me : New pantang.
Girl A : Try uncurl it. Too curled.
Me : *uncurls wire and switches on mike and screeching noise occurs* Not working lah.
Girl B : You have to lower to microphone stand.

*microphone is lowered, switched on, shrill screech pierces through*

Me : Smart. *walks around with microphone and switches on and off*

...no screeching sound when away from the ghostly field and when close...screeching noise again.

Me : Who knows its the stand...
Aazean: So now it's the stand?
Me : Lousy stand?
Girl C : HAUNTED!!! That's why it only makes sound at that spot!

After twenty minutes of rubbishing, looks up, sees a huge speaker hanging from the ceiling...explains it all...

Noobs...
