We saw that at SMK. St. Joseph. That's right, someone tied shoes to the telecommunication cables that hung perhaps two stories above the ground. Hearsay it was the marching band's evil deed. Okay lah, so we being "sakais" at such a fascinating sight, began to snap photos with our camera phones. Today, I told someone of my interesting sighting and I got the reply,
"India Street got lots of those. There the cobblers, after they fail to repair certain footwear, thats how they dispose of it. If they're feeling candid that is."
At least the cobblers had a good reason to dispose of spoiled shoes but those were one pair of normal-looking school shoes that probably still could be worn for a few more years to come.
