I Wish

I wish that I could have,
A second chance to make a change.
Retrace every mistake I made,
Take back every word I spoke,
I wish that I could have,
Given things a second glance,
I would have seen what was in front of me,
What I had all the time,
I wish that I could have,
Known how everyone felt like,
With everything I had done,
With every single word I spoke,
I wish I could make,
Everything less complicated,
If this is all just a game,
Let's now just get everything done,
I wish that I could have,
Understood things more,
I wouldn't have been caught in the middle,
Of my own catastrophe,
I wish I could have,
Let the world know as far as one can see,
What I pretend to not be,
Something broken up inside.
