Metaphor

It’s somewhat thoughtless when you are in a place like that and you turn to your friend or acquaintance or whosoever, point a finger, tap on the shoulder or whatever…

…and imply, “oh you are there... Look at where I am now. It’s really nice here.”
Give it a rest, I’m positively certain that everyone wants to be at a place like that too.
