New Year 2007!

Happy New Year!!! Today's the first day of the year 2007, a brand new year with a brand new start. I went out with my parents last night for supper and then a car ride around town. I must say that the New Year celebrations in Kuching are pretty quiet or shall I use a better word, modest? A couple of bangs in the sky created by the small little displays of fireworks here and there, popping up in the sky, wheezing happily and appart from that, nothing special. Then, we drove past Padungan area and it was packed with human beans engorged in celebrating their New Year in different cafes and clubs. You could hear loud techno music blastic as you drive pass. The place was simply crawling with people, packed like sardines.

Anyway, I was supposed to go out this afternoon to watch Night in the Museum with Choulyew,
Ian and a human bean at Star Cineplex. Unfortunately, this human bean couldn't make it so, we shifted our plans to Tuesday instead. Our original plan was to go for a round of pool at Everise
but then, the pool place was not open on public holidays so the plan shifted over to catching a
movie. Unfortunately, on Tuesdays, the pool place at Ala Cart wouldn't be open. Too bad but
nevertheless, at least I get to go out before school reopens on the 3rd of January! Wow, an
entire year really flies from 1st of January 2006 to 31st December 2006 and landing gracefully
on the 1st of January 2007!!! Anyway, I decided to list down 10 things on the most memorable
moments of 2006.

10. I had my very first aspirin allergy on the 23d of July 2006.
9. I first wore retainers on the 28th of March 2006.
8. I tried vegeterian kolo mee for the very first time this year 2006.
7. I got first in class for my second term exam in May 2006.
6. I sat for PMR examinations on the 2nd of October 2006.
5. I first started shooting training on 31st of October 2006.
4. I went for my very first shooting competition at on the 5th to 11th of December 2006.
3. I had a great day with my Christmas present on the 26th of December 2006.
2. I got 7A's for my PMR 2006 when results were out on the 28th of December 2006.
1. I received the best Christmas present on the 16th of December 2006.

A new member to my collection... Russ named it Wellesley...

By the way, something really interesting happened at night when my family and I were heading out to Crown Plaza. Just few meters away from our house, my dad's car suddenly stopped. Apparently, the engine got jammed. So, all plans to Crown Plaza was aborted. While my dad walked home to get my mum's car, my mum and I headed over the Green Gallery. There, I found the cutest Russ Berrie teddy named Wellesley which, my mum bought for me! Oh, she helpfully told the salesboy that it was my 100th teddy bear. Then, we ended up eating dinner at Jade Mandarin. I had a glass of beer and a glass of stout. Strangely, beer didn't taste as bad as I recalled how it used to be last time. I didn't get drunk... if that's what that's running through your head now...

Penilaian Menegah Rendah 2006 results

Forget about the lucky rabbit feet or any lucky charms, I brought nothing along with me this morning appart from myself, my mum and my cellphone. I really didn't know what to expect but the night before, I had already mentally prepared myself for the worst...6As and 1B. First thing I was greeted with when I walked into the school, was my class teacher, Madam Tan. She extended her hand out with a big gleeful smile and told my mum that it was high time to 'chia' her. Then, she gave me the good news that I've gotten straight A's for my PMR!!! Yay!!! Obtaining straight A's equals to a flash flood of cash and 'face'. Madam Tan kept insisting that those of us that got straight A's had to stay until 11.30 for the reporters to arrive. And we were kept waiting in the freaking hot heat of the sun!!! I got interviewed by some Chinese press and the Borneo Post. Get on the lookout for my face in one of those papers. Hehehe!

Apparently, 44 students from SMK. St. Teresa Kuching obtained straight A's, consisting of 34 students from 3A1, 3 students from 3A2 and 7 students from 3A3. SMK. Kuching High has 38 straight A's students meanwhile SMK. St. Mary Kuching has 9 straight A's students. As for SMK. St. Thomas, according to a very unreliable source named Jason Chen Chun Yang, they have completely no straight A's students. Believe all the numbers that I had just given except for the one about SMK. St. Thomas. Clearly as I can see, I believe that it's the Bahasa Melayu paper that had pulled most students down as majority obtained a B for that paper. Anyway, I'm just glad that I did not get a B for that paper as I felt that I had a 50/50 chance of getting an A or B for that particular paper.

Penilaian Menegah Rendah 2006

If carrying one rabbit foot brings luck, two would be better and since two would be better, carrying the entire rabbit to school would maximize my luck right?

Lower Secondary Assessment 2006 or commonly known as Penilaian Menegah Rendah 2006 results are going to be out tomorrow at 10.00am!!! I am just so excited for 'Dooms Day' to arrive in just a couple more hours. Sounds excellent eh? Well, I suppose I just got to face my results tomorrow either it consists of 7E's or 7A's after all, life still has to go on after sneaking a peek at my results. I wonder if I could spot fellow students wearing their lucky charms to school tomorrow, a lucky shirt or a lucky necklace perhaps? Or to the extend of dangling hundreds of rabbit feet on their bags or handphones? Or sticking three-leaved clovers into their pockets or not letting black cats cross their paths?

Oh well, I don't suppose obeying any of those superstitions now would do any help. After all, it is not like by carrying a white rabbit foot in your bag, a three-leaved clover stuck in the pocket of your jeans and wearing your lucky Nikes are going to miraculously erase your results into a beautiful straight flush of A's. Perhaps carrying all those during the assessment may some how have psychoed yourself into performing better?? I have no further comments, I shall just sleep the night off tonight and wake up fresh tomorrow morning, accept the fact that it is 'Dooms Day' and head down to school before 10.00am. Wish me luck and toss me a rabbit's foot.

Curse of the Golden Flower movie

I went to watch Curse of the Golden Flower movie this afternoon with a couple of fellow shooters from the Sarawak Shooting Team and with the bestest human bean on the globe. Well, what are my comments on this movie. Hmm... first of all, it's pretty boring just like Ian had said. I ought to have watch Night in the Museum (I think I got the title right!). Curse of the Golden Flower is an awfully gold movie and I mean it literally. The decorations, scenery and set up are all shades of gold or either a relative of the gold colour. The movie is just gold, gold, gold and so gold! Even the pots they used are gold! The movie has alot about lust as well, this person likes that person and yet that person likes another person. Typical. You'll only get to see Jay Chou for perhaps, four to six times in the movie. Or perhaps he appeared more times than that but I got distracted by something else while watching the movie so perhaps I did not pay much attention to the movie. Overall, it's just not a very interesting and catchy movie but the company I had to the movie was wonderful! Therefore, it wasn't a waste of my money to pay for the tickets! Oh hang on, I did not pay for my ticket, somebody (a very sweet one too) paid for my ticket! Hehehe!!!

I was woken up at 8.40am by my human alarm clock and then later at 9.30 but nevertheless, I slept until 10.00am. Hehehe!!! What a pig I am. Then, I ate at McDonalds with my company to the movies and then headed over to Star Cineplex. Choulyew actually wanted to call a cab to get us there but it ended up, we didn't of course. Ian, Choulyew and Choy shared to get me a teddy bear for Christmas!!! That's so nice! And Choulyew got Jason and orange T-shirt. What was Ian and her Christmas present? Big Macs, McFlurries, cokes and fries, which, they could not finish and shoved it off to other people! Greeeeedy! Hehehe! Overall, today is such a wonderful day because I had the bestest Christmas present with me!!! Hugzzzzzz!!!!
My teddy from Yew, Ian and Choy!

Christmas is wonderful!

Merry Christmas and a very blessed one to all of you!!! I came back from Christmas midnight mass yesterday at almost 2.00am and guess what, there was my Christmas present (the 16th December gift) waiting for me! It may not have been sitting under my Christmas tree or hanging in my stocking but I was probably the happiest girl at that moment that there it was, waiting for me. All right, I know to an outside reader, this wouldn't make any sense but the whole purpose of my blog is to serve me as a memoir of my life next time when I look back. So, I got all dressed up for church in purple and white. It was so breathtaking and spectacular when they turned off all the lights in church when the clock struck 12am, signalling that it was Christmas Day. Then, on came the lights of all the decorations in the church. The sight was just so beautiful! Christmas is such a beautiful day and it's even better when you have someone you love to share it with!

I brilliantly woke up at startlingly 8.46am when my human alarm clock greeted me with a daily SMS. Hardworkingly, I dragged myself out of bed and went to wash my face, brush my teeth and once again, hardworkingly, dragged myself back to bed and snoozed until 10.00am. That was when I went for the famous Rubber Road laksa and it was delicious. Later that evening, I had my dad's delicious Peking duck and some other tasty dishes. Yum. Yea, my dad's a better cook than my mum, honestly speaking. This Christmas is just so wonderful!!! I feel so happy!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!! Don't Grinch out on Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas is finally here!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!! There were a couple of things that I mailed to Santa Clause in hopes that when I wake up the next day, I could find it in my stocking. I mailed for a teddy bear and a necklace, which, I received 12 days before Christmas and I also received a couple of other stuff which, I did not mail for but thank you, thank you!!! Hugs!!! Anyway, I woke up on December 16th and I found the bestest present stuffed into my stocking!!! Apparently, Santa Clause decided to hasten up his delivery service this Christmas so he came earlier to pay me a visit. Wanna know what's that very, very, very special present that I've been gibbering so much about lately for 8 long, happy days? Sneek a peek and look at what I found in my stocking...I'm just joking. I would love to have a puppy really but I found a dog in my stocking, illeterally. And it's the bestest, bestest Christmas present ever!!! May I repeat it once more, the bestest indeed!!! Because it's so sweeeeeet, cuuuute and the list goes on and on and on!!! Even longer than my Christmas shopping list or Christmas wish list!!!Hehehe!!! My special Christmas present arrived just on time today!!! Hehehee!!! Anyway, my grandparents came to visit this morning. Then, we had dinner just now. Argh... I am so full now. Piggy Gabby! We'll be going for midnight mass at Blessed Sacrament Church later. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Hugzz!!!

Shooting!!!

What a beautiful day today is!!! Ahh...I dragged myself out of bed at 6.45am this morning just to go for shooting training. Today they had a competition for air rifle men and air pistol men 10m for the Sukma 2008 listing. I just went to train for my competition on next Wednesday. Today, I actually shot better than yesterday. Mainly 9s and 10s! No 8s and 7s like my competition yesterday!!! Ish! Anyway, after training I went for lunch at MJC with a couple of shooters. There Stella was, spitting bits of ice at people with a straw.

Eeeee!!! Choulyew and Ian are going to be 'chia-ed' so many things this Tuesday!!! Let me tick of the list of things they are going to get from me and someone...

2 McFlurries (Christmas present)
2 Bic Macs (Christmas present)
2 Packets of french fries (Christmas present)
3 Lolipops (only chia-ed by the dumb dumb who tried to trick Choulyew.)

Why!

Haih... what does a frustrated person like me do after shooting really badly at a competition today with a total score of 326 do now? Go online and blog about it over a slice of American Chocolate. Today, we competed for Sukma 2008 listing. Only two of us competed for air rifle women 10m, namely Choulyew and I. What's wrong with me today?? Argh... 326... why! So many 8s all at the bottom left side. Adjust sight also no difference... why, why, why! Then, even got a 5 and a 4!!! At least got some 9s and 10s also, on the bright side. Coach Valentina and Ahmad told me that its because I'm using a new gun and I'm not familiar with it. Okay, that could be one of the reasons and another of the reason is probably because I woke up not feeling like shooting today. Haih... what a day!!!

Anyway, the air and .22 gun that Ian and Choulyew shared screwed up today. In other words, spoilt. What a coincidence. Choulyew's gun backfired at her very last shot, causing her to shoot a 2 to the right and normally she shoots 9s and 10s. Then, she tried her gun again and once again, it shot to the right and it was a miss. Calvin, Ian and I tried as well and it all went to the right and was a miss too. Ian clicked 24 times and it still shot to the right. So anyway, due to such unsatisfying results, they allowed us to recompete this Wednesday together with Stephanie. What a lousy day today is!!! 326... my worst ever! But anyway, it was so nice and sweet of the bestest human bean on earth to call and check on me after that!

Christmas Day is approaching, so kindly visit THE HOUSE

Anyway... for those who have got nothing better to do, kindly visit this rather fascinating and interesting website http://fizzlebot.com/sinthai/thehouse.htm that Vincent had introed Christine to visit. Christine introed me and now I intro you to visit it!!! Merry Christmas everyone! Enjoy it!!!

Sabotager!!!

Sabotager!!! Hahaha!!! Now that tittle does not go to Ian but instead it goes to me. Feeling like I had nothing better to do today, I went and shot his target instead. Hey, at least I shot it with flair and shot a 7 or 8. Then, he sabotaged mine and shot a 0! Then, I made a bet with him that if I shot a 10 on his target, he would have to 'chia' me and somebody movie tickets and if he shot a 10 on my target, I would chia him McFlurry. After two shots, we finally agreed that the third will be the last to comfirm it all and no fair! He shot a 10 and I shot a 9!!! Blueeeeeeekk!!! Now not he gets 'chiaed' but Choulyew too! At least somebody's going to split the share of 'chiaing' with me! Muahahahahaha!!! Now got to 'chia' those two McFlurry, Big Mac and fries...greedy ah you two!!! This teaches me not to bet anymore!!! At least this is just what I say!!! Anyway, I think I finally got used to the new rifle I'm using, the FWB P70. At least I shot 10s and 9s today and in one grouping. I think there were one or two 8s. Hehehe!!!

Feinwerkbau P70

I'm used a new air rifle today!!! Hehehe!!! It's a blue Feinwerkbau P70 model. I'll be sharing it with Samson after next year's Chinese New Year when we start shooting 22. So, we will be taking turns between the air rifle and the .22 rifle. Firstly, if I were to compare the FWB P70 with my old FWB 601, I must say that they are both very, very, very different rifles! The FWB P70 is way lighter than my old rifle and the trigger has its' own individual feel too. The style of loading the rifle is also way easier! Consumes less energy to be frank. Anyway, since the holidays for International Music House has started, I won't be attending any piano lessons or theory classes on Fridays and Saturdays. So, I shall go for shooting trainings instead! Hehehe!!

I'm so happy today!!! Okay, okay, I know... this is like the third post about me being extremely happy. Well, I am and there's no denying it. That's because something wonderful had happened! Hehehehe!!! Anyway, I'm going to be watching Curse of the Golden Flower this Thursday. Yay! I'm going to go do some Christmas shopping too on that day. I can't wait!!! Bluek, somebody lost an RM90 bet last night on football. What a pity...

I'm so happieee!!!

I'm sooooooooooo happy today!!! It's December 16 2006 today and I've just receieved the best Christmas prezzie ever this morning!!! I'm not going to tell out to the whole world what's it because it's all mine, mine, mine and mine!!! I must be the luckiest girl on the globe. Only the sender and the recipent knows what's it!!! No peeking!!! Hehehehehe!!! When I first got my present, my first thought was..."this must be some sort of prank or joke!" and then I discovered there were no hidden cameras, no gotchas and no you've been punk'ds. I love my prezzie so much!!! Hugzzzzz!!!

We had a big family dinner just now, my parents, my grandparents, my aunties and my uncles and my cousins. My cousins are leaving tomorrow back to Sibu together with Taurus the Rotweiler. I ate so much, I'm quite sure that I gained a couple of pounds already. There were so many dishes and I ate large helpings of every dish except for the roasted pork leg dish. Let'sWhen Ben came back from the toilet, he was busy yelling on purpose for help and that the toilet was filthy. I have no idea about how filthy the toilet is on the scale of one to ten as I never fancied visiting toilets at foot outlets. Anyway, I'm just so happy today!!! Lalalalala!!! Daddy came back today from travelling too and I'm gonna get new Adidas shoes tomorrow!

Happy Feet!!!

Happy Feet!!! Isn't this the cutest eraser you've ever seen in your entire life span? My piano teacher, Mrs. Ling gave this to me as a Christmas present! It's the cutest penguin on earth! And it's an eraser! It must be the Happy Feet frenzy going on now. Hehehehe! Anyway, I finally stopped my violin lessons. Today those archers came over to our shooting range, it was so exhuasting having to stand our position so long and shoot. Anyway, I'm getting a new rifle, new jacket and new pants next week! Hehehe!

I'm so happy today. Guess why? Nevermind, don't bother. I'll just spill the beans. After my piano lessons, my mum took me out to shop. I bought a skirt and a top from MNG. Hehehe! Then, I saw this pair of Adidas shoes. It's white with gold stripes and the best part is that dad's going to get it for me this Sunday! Yay!!! I had Korean cuisine with my mum just now and it was scrumptious. Another best part is that, the bestest human bean on earth has just won another bet and he's going to 'chia' me to watch Curse of the Golden Flower!!! I'm so happy today!!!

He's so cute!!! They're all so cute!!!

Aunties and uncles standing outside my grandparents' house...
Inside my grandparents' house...
Today, I went over to my grandparents' house to meet up with my cousins. My aunt offered to send me over at 6.00am when she dropped Stella and Edrea over at my grandparents' house but I turned down the offer as I knew 6.00am was a definite no-no for me to get up. Afterall, I slept at almost 3.00am SMSing last night. So, my mum dropped me off at my grandparents house at around 10.00am. Okay, what did I do there? I played Play Station 2 with my cousins and they all forced me to watch Advent Children. It was a pretty boring movie for me. I spend some time watching television, SMSing a pig, playing badminton and the remaining went to playing with Saber the German Shepard and Taurus the Rotweiler.

Taurus the Rotweiler... isn't he just adorable??
He's my Uncle Dennis' pet Rotweiler and he's 6 months old. My uncle brought him from Sibu to Kuching for a little holiday together with Aunty Lilian, Theo and Ben. Isn't he just adorable?? Maybe not for some people as when they think of Rotweilers, they tend to think of fierce dogs. But Taurus so isn't one like that!!! When I first walked through the gate, I saw this Rotweiler barking at me and I was thinking, "oh my gosh! A Rotweiler! I hope it doesn't bite me!" But later, I got near and it started licking my hand. Basically, he's one really friendly, loving and adorable doggie!!! I've got probably hundreds of litres of slobber all over me after he was done licking me for several times. Awww... he's just so cuuuuute!!! Or maybe I'm just another of those dog-obsessed people. Hehehe!!!

Saber the German Shepard...he's a lil camera shy today...but he's so cute!!!
I go hugged a gazillion times today by this cute, adorable and sweet 1-year-old doggie named Saber today. He's just so playful like he's still a puppy or something. He kept prancing onto me and it ended up looking like we were tango-ing or something!!! He's so cute, isn't he??? I just love dogs so much! Somebody owes me a puppy for my birthday... you know who you are... Hehehehe!!!

Archery!!!

Today, they did some sort of program whereby we shooters went for archery at Petra Jaya today whereas the archers will come over to our shooting range this Friday for shooting. Archery is so not my ideal sport! There were three women rifle shooters, three women pistol shooters, four men rifle shooters and two men pistol shooters. Out of five shots, I only got two arrows embedded into the target face. The archery coach was complimenting on Ian that Ian had natural talent and shot like he had been training for three months already. Something about his arm structure. I got to try to pull the advanced bow and the cord is so tough! Archery is fun but still, shooting is the best!!!

I edited his profile!!! With permission of course... How does it look? Now I have the password to go sabotage stuff around his account. Muahahaha!!! *evil laughter* but I'm not that cruel. Well, my skills in CSS codes have pretty much rusted. I was scratching my head trying to figure out which code was for which section. Some of the colour hexes in the original Friendster CSS code had been locked, no matter what colour hex you edit in, it still remains the same. The old Friendster skin was a lil bit more flexible compared to the new one. Anyway, here are the end of the day results...

First attempt...all so green and ugly but whose idea was it aleady???!Second attempt...that was when I found a really cute donkey!!! I couldn't resist...
Third attempt...all so posh and blue... Final attempt...cool right? Well, that's because I did it!But at the end of the day...mine turns out to be the best!!!

Happy Birthday Yew!!!

Yippee!!! It's Choulyew's 16th birthday today! So happy birthday to her and a big hug from me! She celebrated her birthday at Hartz Chicken and she finally got to see the present that Jason and I got for her! Before I went to Hartz, I went with Jason to get my eyesight checked and to get my lens done to fit into the rubber eyepiece for my rifle. When I took out the black rubber eyepiece, the dumb dumb Jason thought it was a pipe. And he was thinking, "why does this dumb Gab take out a pipe and ask the man to cut her specs that shape! So round again! Doesn't she know people just pick off the rack!". Hahaha!!! Anyway, before we went to Hartz, there she was trying to pick and ice cream cone to eat. She spent so long picking ice creams before she finally decided not to get one. She had to pick the most perfect ice cream that was not dented or squashed. It had to be a perfect cone. Then, it was off to eat at Hartz! Hehehehe!!! Let's tick off the names of the people who went... Choulyew, Ian, Jason, Soon Choy, Onga, Calvin, Stephanie, Amy, Stella and last but not least, me! Ian actually drank some weird concoction that Jason came up with that consisted of coffee, coke, pepper and salt and so did Soon Choy. Jason chickened out of drinking those mixtures. Then after that, I went to walk around with Choulyew, Ian and Jason. Guess what I saw! Those cute tortoises, just like the ones in Johor Bahru!!! I got to slap somebody so many times today! Side, arm, leg and I don't know! So many times! I'm so happy today!!! Even happier because I got such a pretty necklace today and a cute little teddy from the bestest human bean on the globe!!!

The pretty necklace I got today...pretty right??

A close up of my pretty necklace!
The cutest teddy on earth with the furriest feet and ears...

Under-15 Shooting Competition

5th December 2006
Did anyone missed me while I was away for the Under-15 Shooting Competition in Johor from the 5th of December until the 11th of December??? Hahaha!!! Bet someone did...cough cough! On the 5th of December 2006, Aunty, Kak Sue, Kystal, Samson, Stella and I left to Kuala Lumpur. When we reached Kuala Lumpur, we had to wait for almost 2 hours plus for our rifles and pistols to arrive on the next flight. The reason why it took so long for our rifles and pistols to arrive was because Kak Sue came late at Kuching International Airport so we check-in our guns a little too late so they had to put it on the next flight. It was such a long wait!!! Then, it was a 45 minute drive to Bukit Jalil sports school, we stayed a night there. Poor Samson had to stay all alone in a dorm while Aunty, Kak Sue, Krystal, Stella and I stayed in one. They didn't have time to prepare bedspreads and blankets for us that night and it was freezing cold when it was time to sleep!!! Stella ended up sleeping in between the beds on the floor because she said it was simply too cold. Aunty and Kak Sue bought us all to Carrefour on that night. We walked all the way there and took cabs back to Bukit Jalil.

6th December 2006
We had to spend 4 hours in the Majlis Sukan Negara van to Batu Pahat, Johor Bahru! Left and right, all we saw were palm oil trees!!! Millions of them I tell you, lining the sides of the roads. First we went to Batu Pahat Shooting Range to keep our guns in the armoury and then Samson and I left our equipment at the range. The other state shooters were so hardworking, they all went for training where as us Sarawak shooters, left after that and went to our hotel, Hotel Carnival. Its pretty okay, Krystal, Stella, a Penang girl named Kok Sher Ling and I stayed in one room. For today, Sher Ling stayed with her mum in another room and only stayed with us the next night. Aunty, Stella and I went to eat cha kueh tiaw at the coffee shop opposite our hotel. That afternoon, Stella and I went to walk around Batu Pahat and we found this shopping center. I bought a purple bracelet that would match my outfit for Christmas. Hehehe!!! And I bought two crystal keychains with some sort of horse in it for two human beans I know. Stella bought some keychains and earrings. Towards the evening, we discovered that there was deep fried chicken and french fries at this coffee shop opposite our hotel. We think its deep fried chicken butt. Eitherway, it tastes great and we kept going back there to buy more. Stella and I kept playing around with the elevator, going up and down. The other shooters started whistling at us and Stella went, "PHEEEEWIIIT!!!!" really loudly whereas I went, "AHEM AHEEEEM!". We kept doing that from the first floor at them, who were on the ground floor. Anyway, we stayed in room 301, Aunty and Kak Sue in room 401 while Samson in room 402.

7th December 2006
Today, the Under-15 Competition starts. The events for today are 50m Rifle Prone Women, 25m Sport Pistol Women, 50m Rifle Prone Men and 25m Sport Pistol Men. While they were shooting for the .22 events, we went to train for our air events. I was going to compete the next day for Air Rifle Women event. When I was training, there was this 12-year-old Penang boy. He's an air rifle shooter and had only trained for 3 months. I was like staring at him when he suddenly sang some Superman song while shooting or going, "lalalalalala!" or "teedumdumweewee!!!". Then, he told me to call him "Mang Kuang". I can't remember his name. But he's one amusing kid. When he couldn't get his shooting jacket off, he started rubbing his back against the table in attempt to remove his jacket like he was some sort of bear scratching his back against a tree bark.

8th December 2006
I competed today for Air Rifle Women event at 9.00am. Aunty made me ate an egg for breakfast as I was not allowed any spicy food. I don't think I did so well for my competition compared to my training. I only shot a 337, where as I had shot 346, 349 and 357 during my training. Somehow, I made it to the finals and during my finals, I miraculously managed to miss my last shot! Grrrr.... I was so irritated and kinda disappointed. That left me with only a 415 total where as training, I got 457.5. Sigh... I came in 8th for the competition. There was a guest shooter in the Air Rifle Women event, she was a SUKMA shooter and she shot a 394. Wow! That night, Stella and I exchanged shirts as souvenirs with Jun Ee and Elvin. They are Johor pistol shooters. I gave them both a SMK. St. Joseph T-shirt each and Jun Ee gave some white T-shirt and Elvin gave me a red Nike T-shirt. Anyway, Stella, Jun Ee, Elvin and I went out that night to eat and to buy flat-soled shoes for Krystal as Aunty said that Krystal needed them for her competition the next day.

9th December 2006
Krystal and Stella competed in the Air Pistol Women event today. Krystal got 5th whereas Stella got 8th. Samson competed in the Air Rifle Men event today and he got 15th. Later, it was the prize giving ceremony. The Wilayah Perseketuan shooters and Johor shooters left today. That night, two Kedah shooters, Zhen Wei and another guy that I forgot his name came over to our room. They both shared to get us four Sarawak shooters, those handphone chains. We went to The Summit with the Penang shooters using their bus. There, Stella and Sher Ling bought lots of Chinese storybooks. Stella and I bought Choulyew's birthday present. I bought myself a really cute teddy bear. We saw so many of those tortoises that Elvin has hanging on his handphone. They look just like him! Oh, and we saw this bear that looks just like Elvin!

10th December 2006
Check out!!! We left to Bukit Jalil and they made so many stops on the way. Aunty and Kak Sue bought so much junk food and cloth. We finally reach Bukit Jalil around 5.00pm. That night, we went out with Aunty and Kak Sue to Carrefour again. I bought myself a new crucifix as my old one disappeared somewhere, leaving behind only the chain. I also bought this stainless steel ring that I asked the man to put it onto a chord and viola! It's a necklace!!! Stella pierce her ear again and she grabbed my hand so hard. Then, Stella and I went up to the 2nd floor of Carrefoure. We saw this shop that says Colour Rubber Gift Shop. That time we were both busy SMSing, so we walked in and were standing in there while SMSing. Suddenly, Stella grabbed my hand and went, "is that what I think it is??!" I stared for a moment before grabbing her and both of us fleed the store. It turned out to be a shop that sold condoms! This is the first time I came across a shop like that and they even had big posters up that had "play safe" written all over.

11th December 2006
We had breakfast before we left to KLIA. We had McDonalds and there was this guy working at the counter, who's freaking happy. He talks in a singsong voice! Stella and I were laughing at him. Then, after that both of us went to Asean Gifts and bought a sand-filled frog and two sand-filled lizards. Stella told Aunty to close her eyes and stretch her hand out. Stella placed the frog onto Aunty's hand and Aunty yelped and dropped it. Hahahahah! We laughed until we had stomach aches. When I had the lizard in my pocket, the tail was hanging out and this man kept staring at it with large, shocked eyes. Then, in the aeroplane, Stella and I were waving the lizard around and this man was laughing at it. We arrived at Kuching around 5.00pm and had to go to the armoury to keep our guns. I kinda miss Johor!!! But it feels great to be back too!!! Here are some pictures of the stuff I bought!!!

Choulyew's birthday present that Jas & I shared to get...
Two necklaces and a bracelet that I bought...
A pair of slippers that I bought... Two tortoises and a teddy that I bought... The keychains that I bought... The latest teddy of my teddy bear family! (lousy photo, blame the photographer and it wasn't me...)

Shooting!

Today, I tried firing a pistol! I used William's pistol and I shot an 8 whereas Ian shot a 0! Neh neh neh!!! Hahahahah! We didn't really shoot today I guess, just some dry firing and a couple of shots. I tried Choulyew's Feinwerkbau P70 and I kept shooting to the left. That means it's not my fault but it's the frontsight's fault! Hehehehe! The gun's freaking light compared to my Feinwerkbau 601 but I'm so used to mine already. I killed two men today. By that, I mean paper men-targets. I folded one target into half, took a pair of scissors and cut a shape of a man out. When I opened the folded man-shaped target, he had a head shaped like an apple. Hahahaha! Then, Choulyew tried to cut one and her's looked like an alien. I shot the man-target that I cut and I left his neck hanging on two shreds of paper. Then, Ian cut one man-target and I shot the head off!!! Although, he claims that he was the one who shot the neck off.

Then, we had to pack our equipment. We packed our guns and we rifle shooters had to take our shooting jacket, pants, gloves, innerwear and shoes home to pack. Now, I'll be bringing three bags to the airport... two luggages, one for my clothes and one for my equipment and a bagpack. Samson has no idea now how to bring his equipment along as he didn't have another luggage. Well, we shall see what Stella comes up with tomorrow. We'll taking Malaysia Airlines and leaving at 12.00pm and we'll be back at 4.50pm on the 11th of December 2006.

Shooting!

Zhu Qinan of China takes aim during the men's shooting 10m air rifle qualification round

Look at Zhu Qinan's Feinwerkbau P700! Cool eh? Anyway,we had shooting training today to replace Friday's. I followed Coach Valentina's car to and back from the armoury and shooting range today. She asked me to put my air rifle in the .22 double casing and the casing was freaking heavy! We shot another 40-shot competition today. I shot a 86, 88, 93 and 90, that totals up to a 357. I can't remember what Samson shot but I know it totalled up to a 346. Yay! I beat my own personal record today! My highest shot for one serries so far had been a 92, which, I shot yesterday and now, it's 93. So far, this is my highest competition score, 357. But I've only shot three full 40-shot competition. I've gotten 349, 346 and now a 357. Coach Christina asked me to take back my shooting innerwear and get it washed so I could pack it with me to Johor. When you wash it, the product water is black. One of my friends told me that only now then I know that the product water is black, just wait till you put the shooting innerwear into an aquarium.

I watched the 15th Asian Games Doha shooting competition yesterday. Unfortunately, I only caught the finals for women and men 10m air rifle and trap shooting. Their scores are so freaking high for air event! Wish I could have watched from them shoot 40 and 60 shots competition! Anyway, just now I watched the men 10m air pistol finals at 7.15pm and the women 10m air pistol finals at 8.15pm. It was pretty interesting. I did not bother watching the men trap shooting finals at 5.00pm as I wasn't really into trap shooting or shotguns. In short for all air events, China swept all the golds for rifle and pistol. For women's trap shooting, China got gold too as for men trap shooting, I have no idea. I've started to glue myself to the television lately to watch the 15th Asian Games, Doha after I accidentally came across the women trap shooting finals. Since all the shooting events are over now, I've moved on to watching the aquatics swimming events.

Shooting!

Today, I got up at 6.40am, took a shower and went downstairs for breakfast. While I was taking my breakfast, I received an SMS and wow, it was this pig who normally sleeps until 9 or 10. Hahaha! Anyway, we had a small competition today. Argh, I don't know what got into me!!! My first serries was a 92. My very first above 90 score. After that, I got an 85 and then 86 and 83!!! My goodness, my lowest so far was only 86 and today I actually got 85 and 83!!! My best and worst score all in one day. How ironic. I had no idea what got into me, I couldn't focus and concentrate that well today... hmmm... I'm so unsatisfied!!!

Yesterday, we had these MSNS, RTM and some other department people over at the shooting range for some shooting competition. They only had two events, 10m air rifle event and 10m .22 pistol event. Normally it was 25m for the .22 pistol event but then Coach Christina said that 25m was too hard for them as they weren't shooters so she made it 10m instead. For the air rifle event, they shot sitting down. These two people who used Ian and Choulyew's Feinwerkbau P70, shot the higest scores, 94. They had 10 shots. Anyway, the lowest score was 58. There were five of us shooters who had to be technical helpers this afternoon. Three pistol shooters and two of us rifle shooters. Last but not least, we were given these orange and white T-shirts that had 'Shooting The Media' printed across the back in bold black prints.

As for the Under-15 Shooting Competition that I will be going for together with Krystal, Stella and Samson on the 5th to 11th of December, I'm taking part in the 10m air rifle women event and it's on the 8th of December at 9.00am. The finals for 10m air rifle women event will be at 4.00pm on the 8th of December. We'll be at Batu Pahat Shooting Range. The competition actually starts on the 6th to the 10th of December. 10m air rifle men event and 10m air pistol event women will be on the 9th of December. Finals for 10m air rifle men event and 10m air pistol event women will be on the 9th of December as well. Therefore, I will be the first among the 4 of us to finish my event. So, a note to Siew Ai that I will not be updating my blog on those particular dates because I will not have a computer with me and not because I am simply too lazy to blog!!! Blueks!
